Tado Smart Climate Control Pack – Smart Radiator Thermostat V3+ with Internet Bridge and Thermostatic Head

With the new Tado Smart Radiator Starter Kit V3+, you’ll stay connected to your home wherever you are, whilst saving energy at the same time! Studies carried out by the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics have shown that Tado climate control systems can save up to 31% on your heating bill.

The Tado package consists of the Tado smart radiator head and the internet bridge, which connects the smart radiator head to the smartphone app, available on both iOS and Android. You’ll be able to control the temperature in every room of your home wherever you are via the app, or set a heating schedule. To control multiple rooms, you only need a single internet bridge module, but you will need one thermostatic head for each radiator you wish to control. The Starter Kit contains a single thermostatic head and an internet bridge; any additional thermostatic heads must be purchased separately.

Tado’s algorithms will ‘learn’ the time required to heat your home, so the Tado system will know when to start heating to ensure you have the right temperature at the desired time.

The Tado heating system also includes features such as: 

- Geofencing: it can automatically detect when you leave your home using your phone’s GPS and switch to Economy mode;

- Weather Adaptation: the Tado algorithm uses the weather forecast to minimise your home’s energy consumption as much as possible;

- Open Window Detection: the algorithms can detect when a window is open, turning off the heating to avoid wasting energy;

- MultiRoom: allows individual temperature control in each room, although this feature requires Tado thermostatic heads for each radiator;

To use the Tado products described above, you do not need Z-Wave/ZigBee control units, as communication with the mobile app can be established via the Internet Bridge included in the package.
