Important – signal level

Splitters with a large number of outputs introduce attenuation specific to RF signal distribution. Depending on the installation, the total loss is influenced by the splitter, the length of the coaxial cable and intermediate components (connectors, TV sockets). If the signal level provided by the operator is not sufficient to compensate for these losses, it is recommended to install a CATV amplifier upstream of the splitter to ensure an optimal signal level at all points of use.

Installation recommendations

• Attenuation is identical on all outputs, regardless of the number of ports used
• For correct operation, unused outputs must be terminated with 75 Ω terminating resistors
